Description

P-Lift assists in the relief of premenstrual symptoms such as irritability, mood swings, tiredness and breast tenderness. P-Lift contains an extract equivalent to 2.0 grams of Vitex agnus-castus fruit which assists in the regulation of the menstrual cycle and healthy hormonal balance. Vitex, vitamin B6, zinc and ginger support normal female reproductive system health, while iodine supports healthy thyroid function and vitamin E provides antioxidant support.

Clinical Benefits

Vitex agnus-castus and vitamin B6 assist in the management and relief of PMS symptoms such as breast tenderness, tiredness, moodiness, headaches, bloating and fluid retention.

In a clinical trial involving 1634 PMS patients, 93% of participants taking vitex, reported a significant decrease or total cessation of their PMS symptoms after the three month trial. The symptoms that decreased include headaches, tiredness, moodiness, breast tenderness, bloating and fluid retention.
Vitex’s PMS-relieving actions are thought to be due to it binding to dopamine receptors and inhibiting prolactin. Elevated prolactin may inhibit corpus luteal development, reducing the secretion of progesterone in the luteal phase of the menstrual cycle.
Ginger: Studies have shown that ginger may reduce menstrual pain via its anti-inflammatory actions.

Withania (Ashwagandha): exerts anti-stress effects which may improve resilience, supporting those suffering mood changes throughout the cycle.

Directions

Adults (19 years or older): Take 1 tablet once daily with food, or as directed by your healthcare professional.

Warnings

This product contains selenium which is toxic in high doses. A daily dose of 150 micrograms for adults of selenium from dietary supplements should not be exceeded.
Vitex agnus-castus may affect hormones and medicines such as oral contraceptives. Consult your health professional before use.
