Carbidopa
Combining 5-HTP and carbidopa can increase the risk of serotonergic side effects.
Central Nervous System (CNS) depressants
Theoretically, concomitant use of 5-HTP with medications that cause sedation might have additive effects.
Serotonergic drugs
Theoretically, combining serotonergic drugs with 5-HTP might cause additive serotonergic effects, including serotonin syndrome.
