Iodine Drops is a single-nutrient liquid that offers flexible dosing. It maintains iodine levels in the body in adults and children and supports healthy thyroid hormones in adults. Iodine Drops also supports thyroid gland function in pregnant and breastfeeding women.

  • Iodine Drops has been formulated to:
    • Assist thyroid hormone production and support healthy thyroid hormones.

    • Support body metabolism and metabolic rate.
    • Support healthy growth and development, as well as cognitive function in children.
  • Low-dose iodine formulation in a liquid form for dosage flexibility. The daily dose can be tailored to achieve health goals across different ages and life-stages.
  • The RDI for iodine in adults is 150 mcg, which increases to 220 mcg in pregnancy and 270 mcg in breastfeeding women. Government health authorities recommend that in addition to healthy dietary intake of iodine, all pregnant and breastfeeding women should have a minimum of 150 mcg of supplemental iodine daily to support foetal and infant needs.2-5 Additional supplementation may be required if dietary intake is insufficient to meet RDI.
  • Ethanol-free formulation with minimal excipients.

Each drop (50 microlitres) contains:

Potassium iodide – 49 mcg
equiv. iodine – 37.5 mcg

Excipients: Glycerol, potassium sorbate, purified water.

  • Adults: 4 drops once daily.
  • Children 2-8 years: 3 drops once daily.
  • Children 9-18 years: 4 drops once daily.
  • Pregnancy: 6 drops once daily.
  • Breastfeeding: 8 drops once daily.
